DDS tester
The main functions of the DDS tester
can be summarised as follows:
- Retrieval of errors (faults) of the
ignition - injection system stored
in the engine control unit memory
and their subsequent deletion,
if required.
- Retrieval of engine parameters
(rpm, coolant and air temperature,
atmospheric pressure, throttle
opening, battery voltage, injection
times and ignition advance, etc.).
- Active diagnostics. Activation of
ignition - injection system
transducers to test functionality
and control signals (fuel pump,
ignition coils, rev counter, injectors,
etc.). From this function it is also
possible to adjust the CO software
and to enter the safety code to
override the immobilizer.
- Road test. Makes it possible to
store engine parameters recorded
within a previously specified
engine speed range interval.
The resulting parameters can then
be analysed and displayed once
they have been acquired.
- With specific sensors connected,
the DDS tester can read electrical
voltages, current, temperature,
timing belt tension, and pressure
values (lubrication and fuel supply
circuits for example).
Strumento di diagnosi
DDS
In sintesi le funzioni svolte dal “DDS”
sono le seguenti:
- Lettura errori (guasti) sistema
accensione - iniezione registrarti
nella memoria della centralina
controllo motore e loro
cancellazione.
- Lettura parametri motoristici (giri,
temperatura liquido raffreddamento
ed aria, pressione atmosferica,
apertura acceleratore, tensione
batteria, tempi di iniezione ed
anticipi dell'accensione, ecc.).
- Diagnosi attiva. Attivazione dei
trasduttori del sistema accensione
- iniezione per la verifica della loro
funzionalità e del corretto segnale
di comando (pompa carburante,
bobine accensione, contagiri,
iniettori, ecc.). Da questa funzione
è possibile anche effettuare la
regolazione software del CO e
l'introduzione del codice di
sicurezza per lo sblocco
dell'immobilizer.
- Road test. Permette di
memorizzare i parametri
motoristici nell'arco di un intervallo
di regimi motore preventivamente
selezionato. Questi parametri
possono poi essere analizzati e
visualizzati al termine della loro
acquisizione.
- Con specifiche sonde collegabili
allo strumento DDS è possibile
effettuare la lettura delle tensioni
elettriche, delle correnti, delle
temperature, della tensione delle
cinghie della distribuzione e delle
pressioni (tipicamente del circuito
di lubrificazione e di alimentazione
carburante).
