ATTENTION
Before performing the rotation of the manceras it is OBLIGATORY to position the INVERT LEVER
according to the direction of travel to allow the operation of the SAFETY DEVICE COUPLING
Reverse.
2) Motorstop, device that instantly stops the engine if we leave the driving handlebar.
Reversibility
The engine must be off when the handle-bar is turned.
Before beginning work, make sure that the handle-bar is well fixed on its swivel pin.
The reverse lever must also be set in the right running direction when the handle-bar of machines
with reverse gears is turned.
Machine maintenance in safety conditions
Never service the walking tractor whilst the engine is running or still hot, or if the walking tractor is
moving.
ATTENTION
Keep well away from hot parts of the machine.
Keep all screens, covers and protections in place when the engine is running.
ATTENTION
To avoid damaging the electrical system, it is absolutely forbidden to start the engine with 24V
batteries or with a voltage transformer delivering more than 12V, even if for only a few instants.
We recommend that you contact your local dealer whenever repairs or adjustments are required,
to have all the necessary work carried out by skilled mechanics.
Starting
Make sure that there is adequate ventilation before starting the engine.
Never start the engine in a closed shed. Exhaust fumes can cause asphyxiation.
Start the engine with the gear levers and PTO drive in neutral position.
Before starting the engine, make sure that all bystanders, especially children, are at a
safe
distance.
The walking tractor has a lever (motorstop) that must always be lowered along with the clutch
control lever and that should be pulled upwards to operate (consult the "Operation" section).
Never ever tamper with the safety device (motorstop).
Never start the engine unless this safety device is perfectly efficient.
While operating
- Never use the machine near bystanders, particularly children.
- Become familiar with the controls and learn how to quickly turn off the walking tractor
by using the motorstop device.
- Never use the rotary hoe without the protective hood.
- Never near the hands or feet to the machine components whilst they are operating.
- Always use the machine and its components in the daylight.
- Never use the machine if the safety devices have been disactivated or damaged.
- The manufacturer declines all responsibility for accidents caused by improper use of
the safety devices.
