Modifying the Administrator Username and Password
If you did not set the administrator username and password for your Drobo 5N2 during the setup
process and would like to do so now, see
Setting the Administrator Username and Password
Otherwise, if you would like to modify the administrator username and password, or disable their
use, follow these steps.
Note:
You may need to be logged in to perform this action.
1.
In Drobo Dashboard on the
All Drobos
page, double-click on the appropriate Drobo device. The
Status
page for that Drobo device opens.
2.
Click the
Drobo Settings
option on the
Navigation
menu, and click
Admin
. The
Admin
Settings
page opens.
3.
In the
Username
text box, modify the username for the administrator. “Admin” is the default.
4.
In the
Password
text box, select the default text that appears there,enter a new password for the
administrator.
5.
In the
Confirm Password
text box, re-enter the new password you just typed.
