HOW TO SET UP THE RUMBLE PAD:
1. Open the battery compartment cover located on the bottom of the
Rumble Pad controller.
2. Insert 3 “AAA” batteries (not included).
3. Replace battery compartment cover.
4. Turn on the Rumble Pad controller.
NOTE: The Rumble Pad controller features a 3-position power switch
located on the bottom of the controller:
OFF
– The Controller is powered OFF.
ON
– This setting allows you to have full use of your Rumble Pad
controller with out the internal LEDs illuminating. This setting
conserves battery life.
LED
– The controller and LEDs are powered ON.
5. With your PS3 console powered ON, plug the USB Dongle into one of
the USB ports in front of the PS3. The LED will flash slowly.
6. Press the CONNECT button on the USB Dongle. The LED will flash rapidly.
7. Press the MENU button on the Rumble Pad. The LEDs above the MENU
button will flash rapidly.
8. Press the MENU button again and the channel will automatically be set.
The solid LED indicates the chosen channel.
NOTE: To connect multiple controllers, connect each controller separately.
First, connect Player 1’s controller, and then connect the remaining controllers.
NOTE: During gameplay, you can access the PS3 menu by holding the
MENU button for 3 seconds.
HOW TO USE THE TURBO FUNCTION:
The Rumble Pad controller features a TURBO mode.
1. To activate TURBO, press any button and the TURBO button at the
same time. The TURBO will be set to that button
2. To cancel the TURBO function, repeat Step 1.
NOTE: If the Rumble Pad controller stops functioning properly, replace batteries.
NOTE: The Rumble Pad controller is NOT compatible with SIXAXIS gameplay.
