7.17 pq_max_brightness <max>
This command is used to adjust the brightness of the output signal in PQ LOG mode (see
log_mode
command above for more details). The maximum brightness can be set from
100 to 10000 cd/m
2
.
When set to 10000 cd/m
2
the image will contain all highlights (use the full SDI code range)
but the image will look over exposed on most displays since they can not reproduce this
brightness. At the default setting of 1000 cd/m
2
most displays should show the image
correctly (which means without clipping).
Important:
Check the maximum brightness and white clip settings of your PQ compatible
display and setup the maximum brightness of the PQ curve accordingly, otherwise you will
not reproduce the image correctly!

7.18 slog3_master_gain <gain>
This command is used to adjust the gain of the output signal in S-Log3 LOG mode (see
log_mode
command above for more details). The master gain can be set from -6 to 12 dB
and works similarly to the master gain feature of Sony broadcast cameras.
When set to 10 dB the image will contain all highlights (the curve will use the full SDI code
range) but most workflows use a gain of 0 dB or -3 dB.
Important:
Make sure to use a value that matches your post processing workflow!

7.20 audio_gain <gain>
Change the volume of the audio stream which is embedded in the SDI output signal. The
gain is given as a 4.12 fixed point number. The default is a gain of 1.0. To increase the
volume set a gain greater than 1.0, to decrease it, set a gain below 1.0.
To convert float to 4.12 fixed point multiply with 4096. Divide by 4096 to convert 4.12 fixed
point to float.
