BASIC OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR
FOLD-UP, RIDGE-FOLD, TOP ROLL AND RADIUS-FOLD GYM DIVIDERS
Electric Gym Divider Curtains are operated from a momentary key switch usually located on the wall closest to the motor side of the
divider. Key switch or controls should be in full view of both sides of curtain during operation. Divider Curtains cannot be operated with-
out the key or control systems password.
When operating the Gym Divider Curtain, be sure to adhere to the following procedures or you run the risk of damage to the curtain assembly:
1. After verifying that all persons in the gymnasium are a safe distance away, turn and hold key in a counter-clockwise direction to lower
the curtain.
2. After the curtain has been fully lowered and just prior to folding the curtain back up, verify the following:
A. Verify that no components of the curtain assembly have been damaged in anyway. If any damage is evident, do not operate the
curtain and contact your dealer or sales representative to arrange immediate repair.
B. Verify that all persons in the gymnasium are a safe distance away.
3. After carefully checking and complying with the items in step 2 above, turn the key in a clockwise direction to raise the curtain.
The following safety precautions should also be taken:
1. ONLY staff persons thoroughly trained and qualified in the operation of the curtain should operate the Divider Curtain.
2. NEVER leave the key in the switch or in an unsecured location accessible to unauthorized operators.
3. Do not attempt to climb curtains at any time.
4. Do not interfere in any way with the operation of the curtain as it is folding up or down.
5. If satisfactory performance of the curtain operation cannot be obtained by following the steps above, contact your dealer or sales
representative for immediate assistance.

FOLD-UP, RIDGE-FOLD, TOP ROLL AND RADIUS-FOLD GYM DIVIDERS
The following procedures should be performed not less than one time per year to ensure continued proper operation of the gym divider.
1. Check all set screws, nuts and bolts on the motor/winch unit to ensure that none have worked loose.
2. Check the limit switch to ensure that it is working properly and that the cam set screws are tight.
3. Ensure that the splices on the drive pipe are secure.
4. Visually inspect the bottom batten for any bends or separation of the splices.
5. Check for any tears in the curtain. If tears are present, patch immediately to prevent further damage.
6. Check for abnormal wear (i.e. fraying) in the hoist cables or loose cable clamps on Fold-Up, Ridge-Fold and Radius-Fold Curtains.
Should severe wear be detected, discontinue use of the gym divider immediately and contact your dealer or sales representative.
