61000 can monitor the following power configurations:
• Single Phase
• Split Phase
• 3 Phase Wye
• 3 Phase Delta
• 3 Phase 2-Watt Meter Delta
• Generic
• 2 1/2 Element without V Chan B
• 2 1/2 Element without V Chan C
While monitoring any of the above configurations, 61000 can also be connected to
monitor neutral to ground voltage and neutral to ground current.
Scale factors
Definition: Scale factors are the ratio of input to output for a particular current
transformer (CT) or potential transformer (PT). Scale factors are entered into the 61000
(from the Encore Series Software or local user interface) and then multiplied
automatically by the measured voltage and current so that the correct values will be
recorded and displayed.
If voltage and current connections are made without using any of the above named
devices, the scale factor should be set to 1.
When to use: Scale factors other than 1 must be entered for the following conditions.
• A Dranetz-BMI current probe is connected to a permanently installed CT.
• The current connections are made using a Dranetz-BMI ISO box.
• The voltage connections are made using a PT.
Range: The scale factor that is entered into the user interface must be between 0.001
and 999,900.
