Storage
5.2 Cleaning
The Dräger X-act 5000 Basic can be cleaned using a damp cloth.
Coarse dust particles can be removed with a soft brush.
5.3 Maintenance work
5.3.1 Calibrate flow
The calibration will be done using a flow meter.
1. Select "CALIBRATE FLOW" in the password-protected menu.
2. Follow the instructions on the display.
3. If necessary, set the required values using the arrow keys and
acknowledge the settings using the "OK" key.
5.3.2 Replacing the SO
3
filter
1. Loosen both screws. Remove the SO
3
filter door (1) .
2. Replace the SO
3
filter (2) .
3. Reattach the SO
3
filter door. Tighten the screws.
4. If necessary, enter the date of the filter change in the password-
protected menu "CHANGE SO3 FILTER".
6 Storage
Store the Dräger X-act 5000 Basic in a dry place, free of dust. Keep
out of direct sunlight or away from heat radiation.
NOTICE
For flow calibration, the Dräger calibration tube X-act 5000
(8103651) must be used. Observe the supplied instructions
for use 9022933.

Once installed, the SO

filter has a service life of 2 years. The
installation date can be entered under "Password-protected
menu".
