Operation for maintenance
Once standby mode has been exited after entering the password,
the measured value currently output by the gas transmitter, and the
measuring unit configured on the gas transmitter, are shown on the
three-digit display.
The
▲
or
▼
keys can be used to open the calibration or configuration
menu, and to run the lamp test or to display the software version of the
remote access box.
Interruptions of operation
In the event of voltage interruptions or scheduled shut downs
(e. g. during an inspection or following a repair), the remote access
box will be ready for operation again after approx. 65 seconds once
the system is switched back on or after re-commissioning.
Calibration menu
To enter the calibration menu press the
▼
key for more than one
second but less than 3 seconds.
The remote access box display changes to "ZE".
NOTICE
If the SIL lock "Parameterisation" of the gas transmitter is configured
to "on", no change is possible, only a display of the configured
calibration gas concentration (CGC)!
If the SIL lock "Parameterisation & calibration" of the gas transmitter
is configured to "on", no calibration is possible (and it is not possible
to go into the sub-menus)!
NOTICE
Always first adjust the zero-point before the sensitivity. To adjust the
sensitivity, use the calibration gas configured in the gas transmitter.
NOTICE
If the gas transmitter rejects any adjustment (e. g. if the attempt is
made to adjust the sensitivity using zero gas), "CNP" (Calibration
Not Possible) flashes on the remote access box display for approx.
5 seconds.
In this case, the calibration routine is cancelled without the values
being saved, and the system switches back to the calibration menu.
