5.7.3 Combinations with corresponding LED and relay status:
Combination(s) Diagram Relay (if a realy board is installed), LED, and symbol status
Case: Alarm is acknowledged before the alarm condition cleared.
Latching
Acknowledgeable 1 Alarm condition is present.

Relay (b) is energized and symbol (b) is active.

LED (c) starts flashing.
2 Alarm condition is acknowledged (d) but is still present.

Relay (b) and symbol (b) are reset.

LED (c) is lit continously to indicate the present alarm condition.
3 Alarm condition clears.

LED (c) is off.

Acknowledgeable
Case: Alarm is acknowledged after the alarm condition cleared.
Latching
Acknowledgeable 1 Alarm condition is present.

Relay (b) is energized and symbol (b) is active.

LED (c) starts flashing.
2 Alarm condition clears.

Relay (b) stays energized and symbol (b) stays active.

LED (c) keeps flashing.
3 Alarm is acknowledged (d)

Relay (b) and symbol (b) are reset

LED (c) is off.
