Manual cleaning
Clean the ceiling supply unit manually with
commercially available cleaning agents. Strictly
observe the manufacturer’s information on the
cleaning agent.

Use cleaning agents in accordance with the
manufacturer’s instructions. Ensure that all
surfaces to be cleaned can be easily reached.

Wipe the surface with a cloth soaked in little
water and cleaning agent.

Wipe it with a dry cloth.

Check parts for visible dirt and damage. If
necessary, repeat manual cleaning.
Manual disinfection
Manual disinfection should preferably be carried
out with disinfectants based on aldehydes or
quaternary ammonia compounds.
Only use disinfectants whose efficiency and
effectiveness has been proven. Observe the
applicable country-specific listings. The list of the
German Association for Applied Hygiene (Verbund
für Angewandte Hygiene VAH) applies in German-
speaking countries.
Strictly observe the manufacturer's information on
the cleaning agent.
Disinfecting surfaces

After manual cleaning, carry out surface
disinfection by wiping it.

After the contact time has elapsed, remove
disinfectant residues.
Reprocessing list
Applicable to non-infectious patients.
The list contains approximate values only. The
instructions of the hospital’s infection control officer
shall prevail and must be observed by trained
personnel.
