After reprocessing
Assembling and fitting device-specific components
The device-specific components must be attached
to the device and assembled if necessary.
Install and fit the following components:
– Ventilator parts
– APL valve
– Inspiratory valve and expiratory valve
– Compact breathing system
– Flow sensor
– Exhaust port
– Breathing bag arm
– CLIC adapter
– CO

absorber
– O
2
sensor
– Hoses and cables
– Anesthetic gas receiving system
Prerequisites:
– All components have been reprocessed and
dried.
Installing the ventilator parts

Open the ventilator door (A) with the attached
ventilator unit.

Insert the piston diaphragm (B) into the
ventilator. Make sure that the Dräger inscription
on the bottom of the piston diaphragm is legible
from above.

Fit the ventilator lid (C). Close the 3 clamps (D).

Connect the pressure sensor line (E) of the
ventilator chamber to the corresponding
connector on the ventilator lid.
5
Close the ventilator door with the attached
ventilator unit.
Fitting the APL valve

Fit the APL valve vertically on the compact
breathing system.
The mark (A) must point in the direction of the
user when the compact breathing system is
installed.

Tighten the knurled nut (B) clockwise.
