The Flywheel will still rotate for A WHILE after the engine is shut off. Shut down the engine, wait for all moving parts to come to a
complete stop, remove spark plug wire, then wait 5 minutes before performing maintenance on the chipper.
Chapter 4: Maintaining the DR SELF-FEEDING WOOD CHIPPER

FEEDING WOOD CHIPPER. For engine maintenance, please refer to the Engine Owner’s Manual that came with your machine.
Service intervals listed in the checklist below supersede those listed in the Engine Owner’s Manual.
