TKP: Resetting a NetGuardian 216 G3 to Factory Defaults
If you can't remember your passwords to access a NetGuardian 216 G3,
and have no other means to access the unit, you can manually reset the
unit to factory settings.
Note: If you have a G1 series NetGuardian 216 or 480, see
This TKP
.
This techno knowledge paper can help you if:
•
You cannot access your NetGuardian 216 G3 due to a forgotten
username/password.
•
You have physical access to the NetGuardian
Note:
This process will set your NetGuardian back to factory defaults, erasing its alarm database. Do
not proceed if you don't wish to restore your NetGuardian to factory defaults.
