Subject to change because of technical improvements

The model plate is behind the door at the bot-
tom in the appliance.
The appliance must be inspected by the
installer for the air tightness of the gas supply
and flue gas duct. The operation of the control
valve, the thermocouple circuit and the ignition
of the burner must also be checked.
When the appliance is ready for use, have your
installer tell you about its use, operation and
maintenance.
Use only the supplied ceramic wood block set,
coals or stones.
Place the log set exactly according to the
description.
Keep the area around the pilot flame free of
coal.
Avoid dirt in the gas pipe.
Always close the gas valve if the appliance is
not in use.
If you notice a gas smell, immediately close
the main valve, open windows and avoid fire or
the use of electrical contacts, such as
switches, because of the sparks they can
cause. Always call in an expert to trace a pos-
sible gas leak.
Installation
requirements
General
The appliance must be connected tightly to a well-
functioning flue.
For connection measurements: see "Technical
data" appendix.
Ask the fire service and/or your insurance com-
pany about any specific requirements and reg-
ulations.
Concentric flue gas exhaust
system
This closed gas stove was designed in combination
with a concentric flue gas exhaust system from the
manufacturer Muelink & Grol. The appliance can also
be connected to a concentric flue gas exhaust system
from the manufacturers Metaloterm or Poujoulat. Use
the appropriate connection collar (available from your
supplier) and follow the supplier's instructions for the
installation.
Use only original parts from the manufacturers
named above. You can order the elements for the
concentric pipe system (such as wall sleeves, roof
sleeves, tubes and bends, clip bindings and brack-
ets) in the desired quantities via your supplier.
You can find the order codes of the available
elements in the appendix "Materials list for con-
centric flue gas exhaust".
The appliance may not be connected to an existing
flue gas exhaust duct or chimney just like that. An
existing chimney or flue gas exhaust duct can be
used as an active element in the installation under
certain conditions. See the paragraph "Existing
chimney duct".
The appliance has a closed combustion chamber
and must be installed as a closed appliance of type
C11-C31 (depending on the choice of wall or roof
sleeve). With a combined intake-exhaust, the nat-
ural draught of the appliance removes the com-
bustion gases outside. The same natural draught
sucks in the necessary combustion air. The con-
centric flue gas exhaust system can be equipped
with a wall sleeve or a roof sleeve. Use the pre-
scribed wall outlet or roof outlet for this purpose.
A maximum value of 12 metres applies to the total
allowable length of the pipe system (the resistance
length). Every bend of 90° corresponds to 1 metre
of resistance length and every bend up to 45° cor-
responds to 0.5 metres of resistance length.
The horizontal section of the pipe system may
never be longer than the vertical section.
In order to maintain the natural draught, at least one
metre of concentric pipe must be placed vertically
before the wall or roof sleeve is installed.
Before the appliance can be placed, you must
check whether the pipe route desired for your
installation is technically permitted. See the
appendix “Calculation sheet for checking pro-
jected route”.
