4.1 Programming structure
The dispenser is equipped with a touch screen display
and additional drink selection buttons. Programming
can be carried out by touching corresponding areas on
the screen.
The touch screen software consists of the
• service interface
• operator interface
• user interface
This chapter describes programming with the operator
interface and the service interface.
The service authorization level overrules the operator
authorization level, i.e. the service technician can
enable or disable functions for the operator.
The touch screen software is basically self-explanatory.
It can easily be handled, and detailed descriptions are
not necessary. Therefore, this chapter explains only
the most important programming steps.
4.1.1 Programming with the touch screen
Programming with the touch screen software is done
by touching different soft keys. There are two types of
soft keys:
• the menu item soft keys of the main menus
• the soft keys in the bottom area of the submenus
Fig. 1 shows the menu items of the main service
menu. Touching a menu item soft key displays a
submenu where you can make different settings.
Fig. 2 is an example of how to use the soft keys in
the bottom area of the screen. These soft keys vary in
number and function. They can either be used to
make settings or to navigate into further submenus. In
this example, you can define the drink prices with the
DECREASE and INCREASE soft keys, and go to a
details menu by touching the DETAILS soft key.
