Functions - Power supply unit
and control system
• Module P is available as an optional circuit
board and is used for operating various
side modules (e. g. payment system) and
further optional internal functions such as
"café cool" and "waiter system".
• The circuit board is equipped with its own
processor including rewritable memory.
Software updates can be carried out by
using a special programming adapter when
connecting a notebook or by replacing the
circuit board.
• Module D can either be used in the side
modules for MDB-, Executive-, Price line-
and Coin changer payment systems
or
within the dispenser by inserting the circuit
board in the appropriate slot on the IO
modules rack for the waiter interface and
"café cool".
• When placing the circuit board within the
rack in order to operate the internal func-
tions connector (1) is used to activate and
regulate the voltage supply, data exchange
and optional components such as cold
water valves and waiter interface.
• When employing the circuit board within the
side modules in order to operate the vari-
ous payment systems the other connectors
are used for the following:
(2) – coin return motor
(3) – push buttons, key switch, LEDs,
displays
(4) – payment systems
(5) – voltage supply for payment system.
