K.3.6 Function: radio frequency identification device (RFID) antenna
•
The identification of user groups (operators,
service technicians) is made possible via
the RFID antenna by means of specific ID
tags. (Fig. 1)
•
The RFID antenna is connected via the
connection (2) to the user interface board.
(Fig. 1)
•
The RFID antenna is operated by pressing
the STOP button (3) for a longer period of
time (> 2 sec.) whilst holding the ID tag
within the range of the antenna. (Fig. 1)
•
While the STOP button is being pressed,
the control system tries to establish a
connection to the electronic circuit inside
the ID tag via the RFID antenna.
•
Whenever the ID tag is within the range of
the RFID antenna, the access operation to
the respective programming mode (operator
mode/service mode) is initiated.
•
The antenna function can be tested via the
test programs in the service mode.
If it is not possible to enter the service mode
via the RFID-antenna (e. g. because the RFID-
antenna is out of function or a related service
tag is not available), proceed as follows:
•
Open the right-hand dispenser door (4)
(Fig. 2).
•
Remove the screws (5) of the circuit board
cover (6) and take of the board cover.
(Fig. 2)
•
Press the service switch (7) at the lower
edge of the user interface board (8).
(Fig. 3)
•
Within 10 seconds first press and hold the
STOP button (9), and then the switch 'ON/
STANDBY/CLEAR' (10). (Fig. 4)
•
Hold both, STOP button and 'ON/
STANDBY/CLEAR' switch, pressed, until
the service mode screen is shown on the
LCD.
