Functions - water system
Safety precautions in the water supply line
•
Inside the dispenser, the water supply line
from the output side of the inlet valve is
connected directly to the top side of the
boiler. This prevents any back flow of water
from the boiler. (See chapter A.2)
•
A water stop valve that blocks the supply line
whenever more than a specific quantity of
water (adjustable from 5 to 30 liters
(1.3–8 gal)) flows at once is also available as
an accessory. This valve, however, only
protects against relatively big leaks.
Function: Water outlet
•
The boiler can be emptied via a hose on the
bottom.
Function: Temperature regulation – boiler
•
The heating system is switched on and off
via a relay. The temperature regulation of the
boiler is carried out by switching the heating
system on and off, whereby the control
system switches the relay on and off.
•
The control system compares the actual
boiler temperature detected by the sensor
with the setpoint temperature (desired boiler
temperature which can be adjusted via the
touch screen. Factory setting: 94
°
C (201
°
F))
•
The heating system is switched on whenever
the actual temperature drops below the
setpoint temperature by 0.3
°
C (33
°
F).
•
The heating system is switched off whenever
the actual temperature exceeds the setpoint
temperature.
Low temperature detection
•
When the temperature sensor detects a
boiler temperature of T
boiler
< 60
°
C (140
°
F),
the error "Low temperature" is then indicated
via the control system on the LCD display.
•
The display is illuminated as long as the
boiler temperature amounts to
T
boiler
> T
set
– 4 K.
The delivery operation can be blocked
in case of low temperature (software
service interface).
