INSTALLATION TIPS
OVERFLOW (as an indication)
If your DOSATRON clacks more than 40 times, in 15 seconds, (i.e. 20 motor
cycles) you are at the upper water flow capacity limit. Beyond this select a
DOSATRON with a higher water flow capacity.
The DOSATRON must be assembled in by-pass as shown belown
(Fig. 9)
.
For installations using header tanks, be sure to have the minimum water
pressure available for correct operation of the Dosatron (the lowest water
level height in relation to the drinking troughs).
If your flow is above DOSATRON limits, see the § OVERFLOW.
To prolong the working life of the DOSATRON, it is advisable to install a filter
(e,g, 300 mesh - 60 microns depending on your water quality) upstream of the
DOSATRON. This is imperative if the water contains impurities or particles,
especially if the water comes from a well or it is surface water.
A filter is required for the warranty to be valid.
Installing the DOSATRON on a by-pass enables clear water to be supplied to
the installation without operating the DOSATRON and enables it to be easily
dismantled.
For any
installation on
the drinking
water supply
line, respect
the standards
and regulations
in force in the
country.
