Turning On/Off
The telephone can be turned on by pressing
down

until the
ON
signal is heard and
the display lights up.
If the SIM card is locked with a PIN code
(Personal Identification Number) “

will be shown in the display. Enter your pin
code and confirm with

on the side.
Normally the SIM card will be locked after three
incorrect entries. The display shows how many
attempts you have left with ”

If the PIN code is locked by mistake you will
need the PUK code (Personal Unblocking Key)
supplied with your SIM card to unlock it.
Normally you will have ten attempts to enter the
correct PUK code and confirm with
w
. Then
enter a new PIN code and confirm it.
The telephone can be turned off by pressing

until the
OFF
signal is heard.
If the codes were not supplied with the SIM
card you can get them from your network
operator.
