12.2 File Explorer
You can use File Explorer to manage files and folders on the phone,
including the phone built-in memory and memory card. There is a top
directory named “My Device” in the phone file system, all files on the
phone and memory card will be saved under this directory. The memory
card directory is located in the “Storage Card” folder under the root
directory.
You can use different methods, such as IR, Bluetooth, MMS, and E-mail
to send files. When using IR to send files, you must first line up the
phone the adjacent IR ports of other devices. When using Bluetooth to
send fi les, you must be close to the receiving end and both sides must
activate the Bluetooth functions. The device receiving fi les may require
manual agreement to fi le transfers. Through e-mail, you can send fi les to
different locations, but you fi rst need to connect to the Internet.
If you wish to use 838 Pro to receive fi les, you must go to
Start > Settings
> Beam to open files for automatic reception, please refer to section
11.19 Confi gure Data Exchange.

If you use the File Explorer to move or delete important system
fi les, this may cause system to be inoperable.
