1.2 Insert USIM/SIM Card
A USIM/SIM (Subscriber Identity Module) card is provided by your
telecom service provider containing your basic data, for example, phone
numbers and address book. Before installing a USIM/SIM card, please
make sure that power to the phone is turned off.

If you do not insert a USIM/SIM card, you will not be able to use
the mobile communication functions
Insert USIM/SIM Card
1. Flip open the card latch: hold the phone in one hand, front side facing
down and place the phone in middle of your palm. Follow the directions
indicated in the diagram to fl ip open the card latch.
. Remove the battery: remove the battery cover and carefully pry beneath
the notch to the left of the battery to remove the battery.
3. Insert the USIM/SIM card: insert the USIM/SIM card in the slot with the
card’s gold contacts facing down. Gently push the battery into position.
Replace the battery cover.
To remove the USIM/SIM card, gently push on the bottom of the card to slide
it out of the slot. Then replace the battery cover.
To avoid damage to the USIM/SIM card data and the phone, the phone
will automatically turn off when you open the battery cover.
