• Always connect the battery control booster
before connecting the batteries.
• Do not use ferrules. Strip the cable ends as fol-
lows:
– Signal cable 12 mm (0.5 – 1.5 mm²)
– Charging cable 15 mm
• Determine the cable cross-section:
• Protect the positive cable of the house battery
with a fuse

(20 A).
• Protect the positive cable of the starting battery
with a fuse

(30 A).
1. Connect COM– to the negative terminal of the
house battery or to ground (chassis).
2. Connect BORD+ to the positive terminal of the
house battery.
3. Connect START+ to the positive terminal of the
starting battery.
4. Connect the negative terminal of the house
battery to the negative terminal of the starting
battery or to ground (chassis) (fig.

NOTICE! Damage hazard
Do not use a cutoff relay. To protect the
trailer connector and the cables in the
towing vehicle, the battery control
booster limits the current consumption
to 11 A in all charging phases.
NOTE
• A 13-pin trailer socket (according to
ISO 11446) with a 12 V charging cable
(cable cross-section >2.5mm²) is
required for connection to the towing
vehicle.
• The battery control booster automati-
cally switches off the voltage on pin 10
when the ignition is switched off.
