Operating the formwork

Plumbing & aligning the formwork

Possible incorrect usages

In order to permit exact adjustment of the formwork ele-

ments in relation to one another and to the structure, 

they are adjustable in both the vertical and the horizon-

tal.

Adjusting the height of the formwork

➤

Fasten a suitable chain hoist to the girder grille.

➤

Raise or lower the element with the chain hoist and 

position it at the right height.

➤

Tighten the Star grip nut 15.0.

➤

Lock the Star grip nut 15.0 with a hexagon nut 15.0.

Improper handling and use of the formwork 

equipment can lead to hazardous situations. 

These must be prevented under all circum-

stances.

WARNING

It is not allowed to introduce any extra 
forces into the formwork and scaffold!

➤

Do not use the formwork to force incorrectly 

placed reinforcement steel into position.

➤

Never use 'brute force' on the adjusting spin-

dles (e.g. with tube-extensions).
