Assembly & preparing for use
Your Cambourne couch is delivered fully assembled. Ensure the surface is level, clean and dry. The area
surrounding the couch should be free from obstructions. Check especially that nothing will foul the couch during
either raising or lowering cycles.
Using your couch: Do’s & Don’ts
DO ensure you read these instructions and fully understand them before using the couch.
DO ensure the couch in inspected on a regular basis (minimum once yearly service).
DO ensure the couch is cleaned on a regular basis
DO NOT exceed the safe working load
DO NOT allow children to play with the couch.
DO NOT allow any part of the couch to come into contact with a naked flame or excessive heat source.
DO NOT store items underneath the couch.
DO NOT pressure wash the couch.
Operating the hydraulically powered variable height
Raising the couch
Using the pedal situated half way along the base unit, depress it with a pumping action, raising the
couch to the desired height
Lowering the couch
Using the same pedal as for raising the couch, lift slightly using the top of your foot, this will allow
couch to descend. By removing upward pressure to the pedal descent will stop.
Safety Notice:
Always ensure that the couch is free from obstructions when raising or lowering!
