Inserting text
Select “Insert” and use
b
to move the cursor the position immediately to the right of where you want to insert text.
When you enter text, it is inserted to the left of the cursor.
●
Overwriting text
Select “Overwrite” and use
b
to move the cursor to the text you want to overwrite. When you enter a character, it
replaces the character in the cursor position.
● Deleting text
Use
b
to move the cursor to the text you want to delete and hold down
t
briefly (less than 1 second). The
character in the cursor position is deleted.

When there is no character in the cursor position
The character to the left of the cursor is deleted.
■
If you hold down
t
for 1 second or longer
The character in the cursor position and all the characters to the right of the cursor are deleted.
