miniSD memory card folder configuration
The data that can be imported, exported and/or overwritten is as follows:
Folder configuration as displayed on a PC
The structure of a miniSD memory card is as follows.
Note
● Do not insert or remove a miniSD memory card while the FOMA terminal is turned on. This could damage the miniSD memory card or destroy data
on the card.
● Note that the miniSD memory card could spring out of the FOMA terminal during insertion or removal.
● After removing a miniSD memory card from the FOMA terminal, always keep the card in the protective case provided. Storing the miniSD memory
card in a different case could result in the miniSD memory card being unusable.
● Check that the miniSD memory card is facing in the right direction and hold it straight as you insert it into the FOMA terminal (Inserting the miniSD
memory card on an angle could damage the card).
● When you select an item on a miniSD memory card, there may be a short delay before the item appears.

When you export still images from the FOMA terminal, they are automatically converted to the Exif format and saved in the DCIM folder. The saved
images are compatible with “Exif Ver. 2.2” and with “PIM II (PRINT Image Matching II)”.
●
You cannot export a GIF image from your FOMA terminal. You can only save GIF images from a PC.
●
The DCIM and STILL folders appear in My picture as the “Picture” and “Image box” folders respectively.

The STILL folder must be created on a PC. Once you create the STILL folder, the SD image folder is automatically created in the Image Box.
●
A SD_VIDEO folder is equivalent to the i - motion of a FOMA terminal.
●
On some PCs, folder names and file names may be displayed in lower case.
●
If you turn the FOMA terminal off, use “Check miniSD”, format the miniSD memory card or remove the miniSD memory card, the most recently
created folder on the FOMA terminal is set as the save destination folder. If the setting is changed, reset the save destination using “Select storage”
(P. 412).
●
Using a PC to create or edit folders on the miniSD memory card may change the save destination folder. If the setting is changed, reset the save
destination using “Select storage” (P. 412).
●
Do not use a PC to delete or move folders on the miniSD memory card as this may prevent the FOMA N901iC from reading data on the card.
●
If you save data that is not supported by the FOMA N901iC on a miniSD memory card, the FOMA N901iC will be unable to recognize the data.
●
You may not be able to display or play data that was saved on a miniSD memory card from another device.
●
The miniSD memory cards formatted on devices other than the FOMA N901iC may not operate normally.

Holds still image files (JPEG-format (except for Exif-format) GIF-format) and
animation files (GIF-format).
You cannot save data to this folder from the FOMA terminal.
Holds miniSD memory card information.

* Data cannot be copied to the “PRIVATE” or “DOCOMO” folders.
