Setting Up the FOMA Terminal Mail Functions
Use this procedure to set the mail functions on your FOMA terminal.

Choose from the following options:
Set the number of lines to display on the mail list screen.

(default setting)
Displays 2 lines for each entry.

Displays 1 line for each entry.

Message display

Choose from the following options:
Set the position from where to start displaying the message body.

Standard
(default setting)
Displays the message from the headers onwards (date and time received/sent).

From message
Displays the message from the message body onwards.

Auto melody play

Choose from the following options:
Set whether to automatically display the attached or pasted melody when opening an i-mode mail.

Automatically plays melodies when i-mode mail is opened.

OFF
Does not automatically play melodies when i-mode mail is opened.

Receiving display

Choose from the following options:
Set whether to give display priority to reception and reception result screen if a mail, Message Request, or
Message Free is received while you are using the FOMA terminal.

Alarm preferred
(default setting)
Shows the Receiving display and Reception Results display.

Operation preferred
Gives priority to the display being used rather than showing the Receiving display
and Reception Results display.

Choose from the following options:
Set whether to receive mail selectively.

Does not automatically receive mail.

OFF

Receives mail automatically.
