Selecting the Icons in the Stand-by Display

You cannot make a call before completing the procedure for displaying the confirmation display from a desktop icon notifying you of information.
When “Operation preferred” is selected in “Alarm setting”, no alarm notification is provided. Press

to return to the stand-by display
before performing the operation.

Even when there is no “New mail” icon displayed, there may still be new mail at the i
-
mode Center that has not been received on the FOMA terminal.
Similarly, there may still be recorded messages at the Voice Mail Service Center even when there is no “Voice mail” icon displayed.
●
Desktop icons that notify you of information are deleted once the respective functions are launched. To clear all the icons, hold down the
t
key
for 1 second or longer.
●
If you select “Not display” for “Missed calls display” in the “Ringing time” setting, calls that you missed during the time taken for the FOMA terminal to
start ringing do not appear in the Received calls record. However, this excludes calls from phone numbers stored in the phonebook.
