Using Desktop Icons
Adding frequently called phone numbers and frequently used functions to the stand-by display as desktop icons
provides a quick and simple way of accessing those numbers and functions.

The following can be added into the stand-by display as desktop icons:

The camera, ToDo list display, access reader, bar code reader, infrared receive, dictionary and original menu functions

You can add up to 15 desktop icons into the stand-by display.

Original animations and melodies or images that were pre-installed on the FOMA terminal cannot be added as desktop
icons.
Adding desktop icons
Select “Add desktop icon” from the function menu on the display of the function you want to add, the data list display,
or the details display.

You can only change to “Font 2” for alphabetic letters (full-pitch or half-pitch), numbers (full-pitch or half-pitch), hiragana and katakana (full-pitch or
half-pitch) and some symbols, Greek letters and Russian letters. Kanji and all other characters are displayed in “Font 1”. The text used for phone
number input and clock display also cannot be changed to “Font 2”.
●
Regardless of the setting specified in this function, the settings in this function do not apply to text displayed in the indicator display.
