Changing the Display Color

Use this procedure to change the design of the text, background, the upper and lower sections of the display, and
the software keys.

Select background pattern 1 (a 25-dot background pattern for the upper and lower sections of the display).
If you set a 240 dots wide

320 dots high (QVGA vertical) image in the stand-by display, it is displayed as described
below.
When “OFF” is set, no background is displayed in the upper part of the display and the entire image is shown.
If any other setting is selected, the selected background appears in the upper part of the display and overlaps the top
25 dots of the image. Select this option to give precedence to displaying the icons in the upper part of the image.

Changing the color in this function does not change the color of icons and images. There are also some types of data and functions that are not
affected by changes to the settings in this function, such as the screens for i-mode sites.
