When canceling from FOMA terminal phonebook, press

Data Security Service
Storing (updating or restoring)
phonebook in Data Center
This service saves entries of FOMA terminal phonebook
to Data Center. Stored phonebook entries can be
updated/restored to the FOMA terminal by connecting to
Data Center.

This is an optional subscriber service to be charged
requiring subscription. When having not subscribed to
this service, attempting to connect to Data Center
displays the screen indicating that.
･
You can restore phonebook, set auto-update, etc. from
Data Security Service site of i-mode.

Check the communication result.

Display of the communication result disappears
automatically in approximately 5 seconds.

If automatic update is performed after deleting entries of
FOMA terminal phonebook, the phonebook entries saved
in Data Center are also deleted.
･
When any other functions are running at the specified time
of phonebook auto-update, auto-update is performed after
returning to stand-by display. Automatic update is not
executed when FOMA terminal is turned OFF or out of
FOMA service area or if UIM is not installed.
･
If you deleted entries from FOMA terminal phonebook, you
can download phonebook entries from Data Security
Service site of i-mode.
iMenu → English → My Menu →電話帳お預かり (Data
Security Service) →お預かりセンター (Data Center) → Enter
i-mode password →電話帳・ケータイへダウンロード
(Download to phonebook/mobile phone) → OK → Return to
stand-by display

When the auto-update of phonebook fails, no icons appear
on the stand-by display. You can check it with
Synchronization log.
･
Actions for an incoming voice or videophone call during
accessing Data Center are as follows :
- Even for an incoming call from a caller saved in the phonebook, the
caller's phone number, not the name and image, appears. The ring
alert, vibrator and other functions operate as set in the FOMA
terminal, but not as set in the phonebook.
- Specified caller setting, Unregistered caller or Ring alert delay does
not operate.
- No Chaku-moji is received.
･
The saved order of phonebook groups may not be reverted
by restoration.
･
When Safety alarm is operated during connection to Data
Center, the connection terminates.

Viewing logs that used Data Center
<Synchronization log>

Up to 30 synchronization logs are to be recorded. When
exceeding the limit, record is overwritten
chronologically.
