◆ Updating software at pre-specified
time <Reserved update>
When downloading takes time or the server is busy, you
can choose to set the time to start software update in
advance by communicating with the server.
<Example> Selecting from options displayed to
reserve

On the software update screen, "Reserve".
Available dates for reservation are shown by the
time of the server.

The reservation is canceled.

When the reserved time arrives
When the reserved time arrives, the screen below appears
and, after about 5 seconds, the terminal automatically
starts software update. (Pressing
g
starts software
update immediately). Before the reserved time, make sure
that the battery is fully charged and the FOMA terminal is
in a location where radio waves reach and then show the
stand-by display. When downloading is completed,
software rewriting is automatically started, followed by
reload.

To cancel the software update, press
f
and select
"Yes".

INFORMATION
･
Reservation of software update may be canceled in the
cases below :
- When the battery pack is removed
- When the battery is left exhausted without being charged
- When all data is deleted
- When reserved date/time comes while Omakase Lock is active
･
Note that the software update may not start if any other
functions are used when the reserved time arrives. When
the reserved date and time comes during a call or mail
reception, the software update starts after completion of
the operation.

If alarm, etc. is set for the same time, alarm, etc. take
precedence and the software update may not be activated.
