ppli
By downloading i- D ppli from sites, FOMA terminal can be
used more conveniently. Direct registration to
phonebook and schedule is available from some i-
D ppli,
or Data Box including saving/obtaining image can be
operated with some i-
D ppli.
Also, large-capacity Mega i- D ppli is supported and you
can also enjoy a high-resolution 3D game, long role-
playing game, etc.

This function is restricted by default. For use, cancel the
restriction. → P105

INFORMATION

Any image or movie saved by i- D ppli or i- D ppliDX is saved
in "i-mode", "Deco-mail picture" or "Deco-mail pict" folder
of My Picture, "i-mode" folder of i-motion or added album
respectively, or in the i- D ppli.

When ring tone is saved by i- D ppliDX, it is saved in "i-
mode" folder of Melody or in the i- D ppli.
Downloading i- D ppli
You can download i- D ppli from sites and store it in FOMA
terminal.

Not saved if downloading of i-
D
ppli fails due to poor
signal quality, etc.

The maximum size of i- D ppli that can be saved is 1
Mbyte.

The selected i- D ppli is downloaded.

While downloading, press

and select "Yes" on
a confirmation screen to stop the download.
･
When download or communication is interrupted,
a confirmation screen for resuming may appear.
Select "Yes" to restart downloading. If "No" is
selected, a confirmation screen for partial saving
appears whenever it is possible. If partial saving is
impossible, data already downloaded is deleted.
The rest of partially saved i- D ppli can be
downloaded. → P201 Step 3 in "Starting i- D ppli"
When Software info disp. is "ON"
i-
D
ppli information and a confirmation screen for the
download appears.

The detail information of the i- D ppli to be
downloaded can be displayed by pressing
p
.
When downloading i- D ppli that uses the saved data
and the serial number of your mobile phone/UIM
Downloading confirmation screen appears.

With "Guide" displayed on the guide area, press
p
to check details of the data used by the i- D ppli.
When the selected i- D ppli is already downloaded
A message indicating that the item is already
downloaded appears. When the new version of the
i-
D
ppli is released, an upgrading confirmation
screen appears.

An overwriting confirmation screen appears.

When the memory is not enough or the maximum number
of saved items is reached, follow the instructions on the
screen and delete stored i-
D
ppli. Note that, even when the
download fails, deleted i- D ppli is not restored.

Downloading Message i-
D
ppli
When Message i-
D
ppli is downloaded, the folders for
Message i- D ppli are automatically created in the folder list
of Inbox, Outbox and Unsent messages. The
automatically created folder name is set to the name of
the Message i-
D
ppli downloaded, which cannot be
changed.
･
Up to 5 items of Message i- D ppli can be saved (included
in the maximum savable number, 100, of i- D ppli).
When the maximum number of saved items is reached,
follow the instructions on the screen and delete stored
folder for Message i- D ppli.
･
If Message i- D ppli that uses the same mail folder has
already been saved in the FOMA terminal, it cannot be
downloaded.
