Downloading Receive option
attachment file
You can download receive option attachment files that
are being or not yet downloaded in the received i-mode
mail.
･
When the total size of text and attachment file exceeds
100 Kbytes, a part or all of attachment file is received as
a receive option attachment file.
･
The maximum size of each file that can be downloaded
is 2 Mbytes.
･
When there is an attachment file which is being or not
yet downloaded, its storage period in the i-mode Center
appears on the received message details screen.

If you press

and select "No" while
downloading, downloading is terminated and the
downloaded portion is saved.

Operations after downloading are the same as
those of an attachment file automatically
received.

INFORMATION

When the memory in FOMA terminal is not enough for
Receive option attachment file to be downloaded,
downloading fails. Retry downloading after deleting files
attached to received i-mode mail ( → P176), displaying the
contents of unread mails ( → P177), changing state of
unread mails to read ( → P181), unprotecting ( → P182) and/
or deleting unnecessary mails ( → P182).

Read mails may be deleted when downloading a Receive
option attachment file of a certain size.
･
When downloading interrupts because of out of service
area, etc., resuming confirmation screen appears. When
"No" is selected, the downloaded portion is saved
automatically and appears as attachment icon.
Operating attachments
You can display/save the file attached to an i-mode mail.
･
The files below cannot be displayed, played or saved
on this FOMA terminal. Note that you can only forward
them.
- Melody exceeding 100 Kbytes
- Multiple phonebook data
- Multiple schedule data
- Multiple bookmark data
- Files not supported by this FOMA terminal

Maximum number of saved items → P334

When the memory is not enough or the maximum
number of saved items is reached, you cannot save the
data (files). To save the data, delete the data (files) in
the FOMA terminal.
