Replying to i-mode mail
Replying to i-mode mail
You can reply the received i-mode mail or SMS.
・
You may not reply to some received mails.
・
You cannot reply to received SMS sent from "User
unset", "Payphone" or "Not support".

The Reply format screen appears.
・
For a mail sent to multiple addresses, the
selection screen of the receiver appears. Select
"Sender" or "All".

The Reply format screen does not appear in the
cases below. Go to Step 3.

received mail is entered in the receiver field, the
subject of the received mail is entered in the subject
field with "RE:" affixed at the beginning (only i-mode
mail), and text of received mail and Quote characters
(>) are entered in the message text field.

characters added at the beginning of the quoted message.

When pressing

and selecting "Reply/Forward" on the
received mail list screen or details screen, "Reply" (received
message text not quoted) or "Reply with quote" (received
message text quoted) can be selected regardless of the
settings of Reply format.

The received mail attachments are not attached for replies.

The link item that can activate melody or i-

ppli is not
attached to reply mail and also is not quoted as characters.
・
If file restriction is set to the image attached to the message
text, it is not quoted for replies. When the number of
images in the message text exceeds the limit of 20 types
and 90 Kbytes in total after quotation, a message appears
showing that the excessive images are deleted. Pressing
g
deletes the excessive images and displays mail creation
screen.

Forwarding i-mode mail
You can forward received i-mode mail or SMS to other
addresses. i-mode mail is forwarded as i-mode mail and
SMS is as SMS.

(only i-mode mail) and the text of the received mail
is entered in the message text field.

When a received mail with an attachment is

Regarding attachments to received mail (image and
melody), files that cannot be attached to mail or output
from FOMA terminal are not attached to forwarded mail.

When forwarding the received mail including images that
exceeds 90 Kbytes in total, a message appears indicating
that excessive images are deleted. Press

to display the
mail creation screen with excessive images deleted.
