Various functions of FOMA F-05A
Kids' mode
Changes to functions or settings can be restricted by
using one of 2 different security codes (terminal
security code and password) by the parent and the
other by the child.
Security and other functions that can be set up with a
terminal security code (security code for parent)
cannot be set up with a password (security code for
child).
You are recommended to set Kids' mode when a child
uses the terminal.

Safety alarm
In an emergency, you can sound a loud alarm with a
simple procedure to notify people around you of your
current location. Sounding the safety alarm with a
single touch of button enables you to automatically
make a voice call or inform where you are using the
GPS function.

Omamorimokon (pairing device) and Loss
protection
You can sound alarm or lock the FOMA terminal when
the distance between Omamorimokon and FOMA
terminal exceeds a limit (Loss protection).
You can protect your personal information by
preventing misplacement and, even if misplaced,
locking the terminal.

Waterproof performance
Waterproof performance of IPX5 and IPX7 under
locked condition with the external connection terminal
cap securely closed and back cover installed is
provided.

You can talk or send/receive mail in the rain or use the
terminal in a bathroom or the poolside area. You can
hand-wash the spotted terminal with tap water.
Flashlight and Safety light
You can use the folded FOMA terminal as a small size
light with the light or sub-display section ON.
Flashlight turns the light ON 30 seconds and Safety
light flashes the light and sub-display section 15
minutes.

Infrared communication
You can send/receive data to/from other FOMA
terminals, mobile phones or PCs equipped with the
infrared communication function.

Note that, even when the holder of FOMA terminal is
different from the subscriber, Omakase Lock is
activated on the request from the subscriber.

This is charged service. If you subscribe to this service at the
same time as service interruption or during interruption, or if
you are the member of docomo Premier Club, no charges
occur. And, if you subscribe to Keitai Anshin Pack, you can
use the service within the fixed charge of Keitai Anshin Pack.
If Request permit/deny is ON, Location request of GPS is
enabled even in Omakase Lock ON. For precautions and

Data Security Service

This service allows you to store phonebook, images
and mail saved in FOMA terminal to Data Center, and
you can restore the saved data to FOMA terminal in
case of misplacement, changing model, etc. You can
also send multicast notice to notify you changed your
mail address. With a PC (My docomo), more
convenient uses are available.
