When Loss protection is set
・
Setting Omamorimokon to "Use" displays the icons
below on the Stand-by display.
: Indicates that Omamorimokon is in the allowable
range.
(Blink) : Indicates that FOMA terminal checks
whether Omamorimokon is in the allowable range.
: Indicates that Omamorimokon is separate from the
allowable range.
・
If the distance between Omamorimokon and FOMA
terminal exceeds the allowable range, alarm sounds or
FOMA terminal is locked depending on settings.
・
If imadoco-search is set in Loss protection, imadoco-
search notifies your current location when
Omamorimokon is separated from FOMA terminal
beyond the allowable range for 5 minutes.
・
When FOMA terminal is in the status below, the loss
protection lock is activated after each function has
terminated :
- While receiving voice/videophone call or talking
- In infrared communication
- During Location request of GPS
- When Alarm clock, schedule reminder or Countdown timer
(including during snooze, stopping and counting down) is
sounding
- When safety alarm is ON
- When Silent alarm is ON
- During updating software
- While playing melody

If Omamorimokon is separated from the FOMA
terminal beyond the allowable range for some minutes,
Omamorimokon may not be detected even if returning
into the allowable range. In such a case, open/close the
FOMA terminal or turn the power of Omamorimokon
OFF and ON. Also, you can solve this situation by
pressing the search button of Omamorimokon.

When the remaining battery of
Omamorimokon is low
Omamorimokon does not run with the battery exhausted.
Immediately replace the battery.

The remaining battery of Omamorimokon can be checked
with the icon shown on the stand-by display in the
allowable range. When the remaining battery of
Omamorimokon is sufficient, low and exhausted,
,
and
appears,
respectively.
・
The usage period of the battery in Omamorimokon is
approximately 4 months. It varies depending on
operating environment or usage conditions.

Searching for FOMA terminal
You can sound the alarm of FOMA terminal by pressing
the search button of Omamorimokon (Keitai search).
・
This function is available with Omamorimokon set to
"Use" in the search allowable range.
・
You cannot change the sound type or volume.

Press the search button of Omamorimokon.
With radio waves from Omamorimokon, FOMA
terminal sounds alarm for approximately 30
seconds.
・
The light of Omamorimokon blinks while holding
down the search button of the Omamorimokon.

Operations of loss protection lock
・
The functions below are available even in the lock.
- Turning power ON/OFF
- Receiving a voice or videophone call
- Emergency calls (110, 119 and 118)
- Receiving i-mode mail, MessageR/F, SMS

- Starting Omakase Lock
- Reactions to Location request
- Safety alarm
- Silent alarm
- Power OFF notice
- Keitai search of Omamorimokon

When receiving with the FOMA terminal open, none of
receiving actions such as displaying the receiving or reception
result screen, emitting ring alert are not taken.

Temporarily canceling the loss protection lock without
Omamorimokon
Performing authentication operation (In Kids mode,
authentication is available also with the password)
cancels the loss protection lock. Since the setting of the
loss protection lock is not canceled, returning
Omamorimokon into and then placing out of the
allowable range activate the loss protection lock again.
