SD card backup
Use a microSD card to migrate phonebook entries,
images, and other data or back up such data.

Data which can be backed up to/restored from
microSD Card is as follows.

Phonebook
„
docomo mail (local)
„
Images
„
Videos
„
Music data
„
Call history

When no microSD card is installed, images, videos,
music data, etc. are saved to the handset memory.
When you back up to microSD card, only the data
saved on the handset memory is backed up. Data
saved to a microSD card is not backed up.

In the standby screen,

▶ [Tools] ▶ [SD
card backup]
NOTE
z
Do not remove the battery pack from the handset
while backing up or restoring data. Data on the
handset may be damaged.
z
When the battery level is low, backing up or restoring
data may fail. In this instance, charge the handset
first and then back up or restore data.
Backing up data to microSD card
z
Install a microSD card in advance.

In the SD card backup screen, [Backup]

NOTE
z
When backing up the phonebook to microSD card, you
cannot copy phonebook data without name.
z
If memory on the microSD card is insufficient, backing
up or restoring may fail. In this instance, ensure
enough space by deleting unnecessary files from the
microSD card.
Restoring data to the handset
z
Install the microSD card with backed up data in
advance.
z
When restoring phonebook entries, you can also
restore files created with PhoneBookCopy or with a
function in an i-mode device which allows you to back
up data to microSD card.
