1. Before using the handset, check that no premises
radio stations for mobile identification, specific
low-power radio stations, or amateur radio stations
are in operation nearby.
2. If use of the handset causes interference with
regard to an in-place radio stations for mobile
identification, immediately change the usage
frequency, or discontinue use, then contact General
Inquiries on the last page and ask about ways to
avoid interference (putting a partition in place, etc.).
3. If the handset is otherwise a cause of interference
with regard to specific low-power radio stations for
mobile identification or amateur radio stations and
assistance is required, contact General Inquiries
on the last page.

Never use the handset if modified. Using the handset
if modified is a violation of the Radio Law and the
Telecommunications Business Law.
The handset has received certification of compliance
with technical standards as a specific wireless device
based on the Radio Law as well as compliance with
technical standards as a device based on the
Telecommunications Business Law, indicated by the
technical conformity mark on its electronic
nameplate. To check the electronic nameplate:

Removing handset screws and modifying the handset
voids technical conformity certification.
Using handset with its certification voided is a violation
of the Radio Law and the Telecommunications
Business Law. Never use with certification voided.

Be careful of using the handset while driving a vehicle.
Other than where excepted by law, looking at handset
screen or taking the handset in your hand to talk while
driving are subject to prosecution.

Use the Bluetooth and wireless LAN (WLAN) functions
within Japan.
These functions are certified as compliant with
Japanese domestic wireless standards.
Use while abroad may be subject to penalty.

Do not change the base software without
authorization.
This is regarded as software modification, and the
handset may be refused for malfunction repair.
