When purchasing the handset, a certificate of warranty
is contained in the "Quick Start Guide" (in Japanese
only) Read the warranty and keep it in a safe place.
Warranty is for 1 year from date of purchase.

Battery Pack KY01, Back Cover KY01, and Desktop
Holder KY01 are not covered by the warranty.
z
Note that the specifications and appearance of the
handset, including accessories, may change without
notice.
z
Information registered in the phonebook, etc. may
become altered or erased through malfunction, repair,
or other handling of the handset. It is recommended
that backup be kept of information such as contacts.
* You can use the handset to save phonebook and other
data to a microSD card.
After-sales service
If you have problems with your handset
Before requesting repair, see "Check here first" in this
instruction manual.
If the handset still does not operate smoothly, inquire at
"Troubleshooting & Repairs" (in Japanese only) on the
last page.
If repair is required after inquiring
Bring the handset to a docomo-designated repair
counter. The handset can be accepted during the hours
of service at the repair counter. Note that repairs may
require several days depending on the malfunction/
breakage.

During the warranty period

Repair is made free of charge under the terms of the
warranty.
z
However, even if within the warranty period, repairs are
made at charge if malfunction/damage is a result of
customer mishandling (breakage of external connector
terminal, display, etc.) or if the handset has been
repaired other than at docomo-designated repair
counter.
z
Malfunction as a result of using equipment or
consumables other than docomo-specified items is
subject to repairs at cost even if within the warranty
period.

Repair may not be possible in the following situations.

If, after examination, the handset is determined to have
corrosion from wetting, condensation, sweat, etc., or if
the circuit board is damaged/deformed (it may also not
be possible to repair breakage of the external
connector terminal, display, etc., or cracking of the
case)
