Area Mail you were unable to receive (Earthquake Early
Warnings) cannot be received again. Other Area Mail
(Tsunami Warnings, special alerts from the
Meteorological Agency, and Disaster and Evacuation
Information) is sent again, and can be received again if
you could not receive it the first time.
Receiving early warning "Area Mail"
After Area Mail is received, a notification is displayed,
and the handset emits an alert buzzer sound or ringtone
and vibrates.

The buzzer sound or ringtone cannot be changed.

handset alerts you (buzzer or ringtone), an
icon appears in the status bar, and the
Area Mail message appears
