The PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) is indicated on the
application (customer copy) you received when you
subscribed at a docomo Shop. If you subscribed at a
location other than a docomo Shop, either visit a
docomo Shop with documentation showing you are the
contracted subscriber (driver s license,etc.) and the
docomo nano UIM card, or contact "General Inquiries"
on the last page.
d ACCOUNT password
d ACCOUNT is an account usable with docomo apps.
You set an arbitrary code for your d ACCOUNT during
your initial settings, but you can change the code at
anytime (→P. 114).

Application lock number (operation
password)
If you set any restrictions, you need to enter the
application lock number to temporarily disable them. You
can change the code (→P. 106).

If you enter the wrong security code five times
continuously, you cannot enter it for 30 seconds.
Network security code
A four-digit code required such as when verifying a
subscriber s identity when visiting a docomo Shop,
docomo information center, or customer support , or
when using network services. You set an arbitrary
number when subscribing, and you can also change the
number.

SIM PIN
A docomo nano UIM card has a security code called the
SIM PIN. It is set to 0000 when subscribing, but you
can also change the number (→P. 107).
The SIM PIN is a four- to eight-digit security code that
needs to be entered for recognizing the user of the
docomo nano UIM card every time a card is inserted or
when the handset is turned on to prevent unauthorized
use of the docomo nano UIM card by a third party. Enter
the SIM PIN to enable sending/receiving and handset
operation.

If inserting a docomo nano UIM card that has been
used in another device, use the previously set SIM PIN.
It is [0000] if the setting has not been changed.

If you enter a wrong PIN code three times continuously,
it is locked and the docomo nano UIM card cannot be
used. If the card becomes locked, enter the Personal
Unblocking Key (PUK).
