Warning:
Should you decide to mount jack, make sure mounting panel
is no thicker than
1/8”
otherwise the threads won’t protrude enough to
engage nut. (If necessary, use Dremel or sander to thin panel).
Mounting jack is not necessary for operation but makes for a stock
appearance and easier to connect and disconnect audio devices.
Operation:
1.
Turn ignition and r
adio “ON”
2.
Press “
BAND
” button
repeatedly until
XM
is displayed
XM subscribers
:
Most recent XM channel will play, otherwise there may be
silence.
3.
Connect audio device to 3.5mm jack using 3 ft. audio cable or similar (See
Fig. 9
).

4.
Search audio device for test track and hit play.
5.
Audio device is played on car speakers.
6.
Use radio volume control button to set playback level.
Warning:
Playlist and Track selection is *NOT* possible from Jaguar
radio buttons. Use audio device built-in controls or wireless remote to
access and control audio files and applications.

If “
Subscribed
”
, disconnected 3.5mm audio cable
from jack
and operate XM
as customary.
Jack (See Fig. 7), must be empty when listening to XM

If correct operation is confirmed go ahead and reinstall the radio
