Requirements:
XM tuner Module with or without subscription
Introduction:
Many Cadillac SRX and CTS include XM, DVD, GPS etc. but no option to connect
and play portable audio devices. Connecting an auxiliary input to most cars
usually requires disconnecting XM
,
however with the AUX-CTS the XM tuner
Module is required and retained regardless of subscription status. The AUX-CTS
provides a 3.5mm audio input jack to for all kinds of audio devices including
Smartphones, MP3 Players, Tablets, iPod etc. For additional details, please See

2004-05 CTS owners.

Using a panel removal tool, unclip and remove the top A/C vents panel
(See
Fig. 1

Open ash tray and remove tray. Extract (1) 9/32" (7mm) screw in tray
cavity.

Using a panel removal tool, unclip and remove A/C Control/ash tray
assembly below radio (See
Fig. 2
