Remove tape backing and attach microphone mounting bracket to
headliner, sun visor etc.; route cable down pillar, under dashboard
toward module location and connect to module “MIC” input. (See
Fig.

Wind noise (Convertibles) will negatively affect phone audio. Users are
advised to install microphone away from wind/ventilation ducts etc. or
opt for button microphone seen in
Fig. 16a

For added installation flexibility, we offer optional button microphone. (See

). Adding this option replaces visor microphone shown in

To install, c
onnect 1/8” plug to Module
CTR/MIC
input jack (See
Fig. 15
) and
route button to front of the dash, clean area with alcohol, remove tape backing
and attach to dash (cable is 6ft. long).
We recommend testing mic audio from
multiple dashboard locations prior to finalizing install.
