Electrical connection
- ELECTRICAL SAFETY :
Operate this machine only on a
supply equipped with a 30 mA
earthed current-limiting circuit-
breaker. Otherwise, consult our
catalogue for appropriate models.

Fitting the tool
Disconnect by removing the plug.
The machine has an electronic speed
control which prevents material flying when
the machine is turned on.
The speed may be controlled by varying the
pressure exerted on the controls.

In this case individual protection
measures must be taken.
• Retighten the bolts regularly, in particular
after the first hours of use.

Servicing and maintenance
The machine is designed to require only
minimum servicing and maintenance.
Make sure that the following points are
observed :
• Keep the machine clean.
• Do not allow any foreign body to
penetrate into the electrics.
• After about every 300 hours of use have
the brushes inspected by a specialist. If
they are less than 5 mm long, replace
with new brushes. The brushes should be
operated off load for about 20 minutes.
• At the same time, also check the
condition of the commutator. If the blades
are not uniform in colour and there are
surface stripes, the machine should be
sent to an approved workshop.
• The gear box and drive shaft should be
cleaned after 500 hours of operation.
• At this stage, the whole machine requires
servicing and should be sent to an
approved workshop.
In the event of deterioration and
scrapping of the machine, the
following items must be
disposed of in accordance with
the requirements of the
legislation in force.
