      IMPORTANT NOTE

 

The USB cable of the AIT3000 is designed to be used for configuring/programming the unit during installation 

and not for permanent connection to the boat’s Navigation PC. 

If you intend to permanently connect the AIT3000 to a PC or MAC via a USB interface, we recommend that 

you use our NMEA to USB adaptor cable which will protect the AIT3000 from voltage differences, noise and 

electrical spikes that can occur in marine installations.
