13.1.3.  The ATX-Power for VCC 

The VCC is generated from the VCC5SB with a FET. Refer to the sample schematics for how to implement 
the FET in detail. With SUSC# the FET must be ON (low resistance). The SUSC# pulls down for stopping 
the VCC. To start the VCC, SUSC# is z-State and the 100k-pullup to VCC close the FET. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If the external 3.3V devices need more than 1Amp, the external  VCC3 must be generated out  of the  VCC 
(5V) with a separate PWM converter. To switch on/off, the SUSC# must also be used. Refer to the sample 
schematics where the VCC3 is generated externally.
